Mental Health Week 2002 from Sunday October 6th - Saturday 12 October
Catholic Psychiatric Pastoral Care invites all to their Annual Mental Health Week Mass on Friday October 11th at St. Patrick's Church Fortitude Valley at 1.00pm to be followed by afternoon tea. Join as we pray together for all those who suffer with a mental health disorder, for their families and their carers.

Next Saturday, October 12 is the first preparation day for those attending the Archdiocesan Synod next year. Please continue to pray that God's Spirit will be very active as the Church of Brisbane prepares for Synod 2003.

Catholic Earthcare Australia, a new national advisory commission mandated by the Australian Catholic Bishops has released an educational video "The Garden Planet - The Call to Ecological Conversion". The Cathedral Office has 2 copies that may be borrowed.

The beauty of East Timor, which is a land of magnificient mountains and stunning coastlines, is portrayed in a card series of full colour landscape photographs taken by Sr Cathy O'keeffe and are available in packs of 10 for $15. These beautiful cards can be used for almost any occasion. Profits raised from the sale of the cards will go to Catholic Communications East Timor.
